Today's Place in Spain - Cabo Roig
Cabo Roig: Located in an area of south-eastern Spain, known as the Orihuela Costa, Cabo Roig is in the Valencia region (one of Spain's 17 autonomous communities), within the province of Alicante (its coastline is called the Costa Blanca).
Cabo Roig has everything you could want for a holiday in Spain, sun, sea, sandy beaches and plenty of fun and entertainment.
One of its two sandy beaches is shown in the picture on the right. This beach is known as Playa de la Goleta, it has a beach bar (chiringuito) where you can purchase drinks, snacks and ice creams. Cabo Roig is situated between Playa Flamenca and La Zenia.
